Colors for cars
The color you choose for your automobile can say a lot about you and your driving habits so you need the decision shouldn't be taken lightly!

Black cars might look cool and sleek but, unless you're prepared to clean them every week, you should probably give them a miss! Similarly dark gray cars can look sophisticated and are a popular choice for businesses but they aren't the most sensible pick. We've heard lots of stories about how dark gray cars can blend in with the roads (particularly in the US) and are hard to spot in low light and on misty mornings. Red cars are a popular choice for younger drivers but, depending on the shade, can also be a favourite color for older drivers. Darker red shades like cherry red and crimson have a contemporary stylish feel, while brighter shades like pillarbox red scream "look at me!" The same can be said for sports cars in garish shades like canary yellow and tangerine blitz. Blue cars used to be much more common than they are these days. In modern times you're much more likely to see silvery blue shades such as ice blue and silver sky - these again portray an elegant image for the older driver. If you've chosen a silver car then you've made a good choice. Recent studies have shown that silver has been named as the most popular car color for the 9th year in a row - which is good news if you want to sell!
Popular car shades include:
- Arctic metallic
- Jet black
- Alpine white
